Meet Sijal! This nine-year-old is in third grade, and lives in Nepal with his family. Recently, Sijal was playing volleyball with his friends, and had a bad fall. He fractured his left arm, which left him in a lot of pain, and he has had to miss school as a result. Sijal’s mother told our medical partner, Possible, that she struggles “to get food [for the family] on a daily basis” and that it is “really difficult for us to pay for treatment.” The family of seven relies on a single income, and they cannot afford the $205 needed for Sijal’s surgery. Let’s help Sijal see a doctor and get the treatment he needs. Your contribution will help Sijal regain movement in his left arm and prevent any further discomfort from his injury.
