No is a 56-year-old woman from Cambodia who has three sons, three daughters, and seven grandchildren. In her free time, she likes to do housework and watch Khmer and Thai dramas on TV.
About five years ago, No developed cataracts in both eyes, which has caused her to have blurred vision, burning, and photophobia (extreme sensitivity to light). It is difficult for her to see things clearly, recognize faces, do work, and go anywhere outside by herself.
No traveled for three hours with her son to reach our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), for treatment. No is scheduled to undergo cataract surgery on both eyes on June 7. CSC is requesting $292 to cover the total cost of her procedure.
After her procedure, No will be able to see clearly again.
