Tumusiime is a businessman from Uganda. He is married with three children, and all are in school.
Two years ago, Tumusiime began to experience troubling symptoms, including difficulty breathing, speaking, and swallowing. He was diagnosed with a goiter. He needs surgery to prevent his symptoms from getting worse.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is helping Tumusiime receive treatment. He is scheduled to undergo a thyroidectomy on December 6 at our medical partner’s care center. Surgeons will remove all or part of his thyroid gland. This procedure will cost $240, and he and his family need help raising money.
Tumusiime says, “I will continue with my business after surgery as I will be relieved of this condition.”
