Tumubwine is a salon attendant from Uganda. She is married with three children.
For five months, Tumubwine has had an umbilical hernia. This condition causes her pain and discomfort and is affecting her ability to work. Fortunately, on December 18, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Tumubwine’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably and confidently.
Tumubwine says, “I hope to get a better lifestyle after surgery and I will continue with cultivation.”
