Meet Meyly, a six-year-old girl living in Cambodia who likes to eat fried pork, play with dolls, and study khmer. Meyly is in the first grade and has an older sister and brother.
According to our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, “When Meyly was only a year old, she fell on a rock and hit her eye.” Since her accident, a mass has developed on her right eyelid. Her eye can be swollen and painful, sometimes preventing her from seeing clearly. Additionally, CSC shares, “Meyly is shy because of the way her eye looks.”
For $150 we can provide Meyly with the treatment necessary to remove the mass on her eyelid, reduce her pain, and improve her morale. Her mother shares that “she wants her daughter’s eye to be fixed so she won’t be in pain anymore and doesn’t have to be embarrassed about the way she looks.”
Let’s help make this dream a reality!
