Neema, the youngest in a family of five, is from Tanzania. She was born with a defect that makes it difficult for her to control her bladder and bowel movements. Without treatment, Neema’s doctors write that she will be in constant danger of life-threatening kidney infections and is likely to experience social isolation.
Though she is only two-years-old, Neema’s curious personality is emerging. She enjoys walking around and exploring, and is eager to stay close to her loving mom. Her mother says she hopes her daughter will grow into a beautiful, healthy, and happy woman.
Neema’s family is devoted and caring, but they are unable to afford the treatment she needs to overcome her condition. For $1,300, we can fund Neema’s corrective surgery and give her a chance at a normal life!
