Say hi to Srey Leap! Srey Leap is a bright and curious nine-year-old girl from Cambodia. She is a proud sister and loves to go to school.
Four years ago, Srey Leap was climbing a tree to retrieve some fruit when she fell more than two meters and broke her arm. Our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, reports, that because Srey Leap did not receive treatment, “her injury did not heal properly and she now has a deformity which makes it difficult for her to perform every day tasks, such as writing.”
Srey Leap is in the 4th grade and does well in school, but her injury is holding her back from achieving her full academic potential.
For only $300, we can fund the surgery that will fix Srey Leap’s elbow. The doctors will perform what is called an osteotomy, a procedure that will fix her deformity and allow her to move her elbow more easily. Let’s help Srey Leap out, so she can continue to excel in school!
