Meet Obed, a one-year-old boy in Guatemala. He is the youngest of three children under the care of his father who is a shoemaker.
His father does not make enough from his shoemaking and repair work, and oftentimes the family does not have enough food to go around. Obed has been losing weight and is not growing on a healthy curve. Without nutritional intervention, Obed is at risk of further developmental delays.
