Ainembabazi is a 27-year-old farmer from Uganda. She is married and has three young children. Her husband is a builder who works hard to help pay for their children’s school fees.
Ainembabazi seeks medical treatment for two swellings that have grown in size and caused great discomfort over the past two years. She was recently diagnosed with an anal tag and an occipital scalp lipoma, and doctors have recommended excision surgery for Ainembabazi’s condition.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $187 to fund the surgical removal of both masses found on Ainembabazi’s body. The procedure is scheduled to take place on June 29 and, once completed, will hopefully restore Ainembabazi’s comfort and improve her quality of life.
“I am glad for Watsi programs and I hope to continue farming so I may take care of my children,” says Ainembabazi.
