Kyaw Min is a 54-year-old man from Burma. He lives with his wife and two sons in Mae Sot District, Tak Province, Thailand. He was a general contractor but had to stop working because of his condition. His wife is a homemaker while their two sons go to school.
In May 2025, Kyaw Min began to experience troubling symptoms, including difficulty emptying his bladder. He would vomit frequently, get tired easily, and get dizzy when he walked. Doctors want to perform a ureteroscopy to better evaluate Kyaw Min’s urinary tract system.
Our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, is requesting $1,500 for this procedure. The treatment is scheduled to take place on July 22nd at our medical partner’s care center, Mae Sot General Hospital. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully alleviate his symptoms.
Kyaw Min said, “Your organization will save not only my life but also my whole family’s because I have to pay for schooling expenses, pay back our loan, and earn money for our daily meals. I want to recover as soon as possible to go back to work because the interest on the loan will increase rapidly.”
