Seperato is a 51-year-old brickmaker from Southwestern Uganda. He is married, and he and his wife have three children. The family lives in a semi-permanent home. Seperato earns a living making bricks, while his wife works as a tailor.
For two and half years, Seperato has had a left inguinal hernia. He is not able to lift heavy items easily, and this has affected his work. He was examined at a local hospital, and surgery was recommended to repair the hernia.
Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare (AMH), is helping Seperato receive treatment. On February 8th, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at AMH’s care center. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently. Now, he needs help raising $230 to fund his procedure and care.
Seperato shared, “the hernia has lowered my capacity to provide for my family. I hope to get surgery and resume my work.”
