Mbaine is a casual laborer from Uganda. He is single with 11 siblings who are all not employed. Mbaine’s parents are small scale farmers and earn very little from their farm.
Mbaine reported with a progressive swelling around the left thigh for the last 2 years. He feels irritation and redness when he walks and his thighs rub together. Mbaine traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On September 17th, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, Mbaine needs help to raise $187 to fund this procedure.
Mbaine says, “I am hopeful that since I am I your hands, my health will be restored and I continue to hustle with life through casual labor.”

Mbaine underwent a mass removal.
Mbaine underwent excision treatment and it was successful. He feels much better though with some pain on the incision site. He longer has that kind of disfigurement and will be able to live happily as he recovers.
Mbaine says “Thanks SAFE for the support rendered to me because I was unable to support myself due to much responsibilities I have at home. I now have a job teaching the children of the nation for a better nation of tomorrow.”
