Sophea is 23 and studies business at a university in Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia. In his free time, Sophea enjoys doing aerobics, but he often has difficulty breathing due to his nasal polyps.
Our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, writes, “Sophea developed perpetual headaches and a runny nose four years ago. He has difficulty breathing and chronic sinus infections. He needs a simple surgery to remove two growths in his nose in order to breathe easier and clear infections.” Since he is paying for school, Sophea cannot afford the treatment he needs.
For $225, we can fund Sophea’s bilateral polyptomy, a surgery that will remove the growths in his nose, which will allow him to breathe normally, prevent further infections and improve his quality of life.
