Parani is a child from Tanzania. He is the first born child in a family of three children. Last year, as Parani was warming himself by the fire, he started dozing off. He fell over into the fire and was burned around his chest and neck. Now, burn contractures limit his ability to move because of the tightening of the skin.
Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is helping Parani receive treatment. On June 4, surgeons will perform a skin graft procedure to help him move his head easily again. Now, Parani needs help to fund this $711 procedure.
Parani’s mother says, “My son is doing okay though his wounds have not healed yet please help him have this surgery.”
