Caren is a 20-year-old young woman from Kenya. She is a first-time mother who was joyfully expecting twins. At only 29 weeks of pregnancy, she went into preterm labour and sought care at a health facility near her home. She progressed quickly in labour, and the first twin was delivered safely through spontaneous vaginal delivery. However, the second twin remained undelivered because the baby was in a breech presentation and the pregnancy was still very premature.
Doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section so she can safely deliver her baby. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Caren undergo a C-Section on July 26th. This procedure will cost $504, and Caren needs your support.
Caren says, “I couldn’t deliver my other child successfully and had to be referred here for an emergency C-section. Please help me.”
