Kyomuhendo is a small-scale farmer from Uganda. She is married with five children. Her husband is a construction worker.
For six months, Kyomuhendo has had a peri-umbilical hernia. The hernia causes her pain and discomfort and prevents her from working. Fortunately, on February 6, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Kyomuhendo’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably.
Kyomuhendo says, “I hope to work very hard to get money to care for my family through farming.”
