Immaculate is a 22-year-old lady from Uganda. She and her husband are small-scale farmers. As they do not own land, they grow eggplants on other people’s land. The limited harvest provides only a small income and is mainly used to meet their basic household needs.
Immaculate is pregnant, and her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section because of a high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Immaculate undergo a C-Section on October 5th. This procedure will cost $207, and Immaculate needs your support.
Immaculate says, “I thank God who has enabled me to come to Ibanda Hospital; however, I don’t have anywhere to get money for my operation, but I have hopes that the donor program will support me. I will keep doing farming and get money to buy my own land.’’
