Leah is a farmer from Kenya. She is a mother of three children. Her husband also works as a farmer.
In 2014, Leah developed a cataract in her right eye, causing her blurry vision. A cataract occurs when the lens of the eye becomes opaque, blurring vision. She cannot see well, and this has affected her ability to work on her farm.
Fortunately, Leah is scheduled to undergo cataract surgery at our medical partner’s care center. Surgeons will remove and replace the blurred lens. After recovery, she will be able to see clearly. Now, she needs help to fund this $220 procedure.
Leah says, “I will be grateful to be assisted on this surgery to regain my vision.”
