Evalyne is a mother of two from Uganda. She is a calm and gentle-speaking lady in her mid-20s. She wanted to be a teacher, but her parents could not raise the funds for her higher education, and she had to drop out of school in class 7. Evalyne and her husband are both farmers on their small piece of land. She enjoys singing and is a choir member in their local church.
For four years, she has had a supra-mandibular swelling. The swelling makes her worried that it might be cancerous and that is why she sought treatment. She is unable to raise the funds needed for surgery and thus appeals for help.
Evalyne traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On December 6th, surgeons will remove the mass and relieve her worries. Now, Evalyne needs help to raise $137 to fund this procedure.
Evalyne says “I desire to be treated so that this disfigurement can be treated and further complications can be stopped.”
