Ryan is a 41-year-old man from the Philippines. He is a factory worker, while his wife is a homemaker. Six years ago, Ryan noticed a swelling in his gums. As time passed, the mass grew bigger and started to cause him pain and discomfort, interfering with his ability to do his daily activities and work. He is unable to eat or speak comfortably. Ryan needs to undergo surgery to remove the mass. He is scheduled for surgery on June 12th. A portion of the cost of his surgery will be covered by government insurance, but our medical partner, World Surgical Foundation Philippines, is asking for help to raise the remaining $1,385 for Ryan's procedure and care. After surgery, he should be able to go back to his daily activities and work more comfortably. Ryan shared, "I am grateful for the opportunity to receive medical assistance. Josephy is a 57-year-old father of five children from Malawi. He is a pastor and also runs a kabaza motorcycle taxi to support his family. Twenty-two years ago, Josephy began to experience troubling symptoms that affected his ability to perform his daily tasks and serve his church. He was diagnosed with haemorrhoids and needs surgery to prevent his symptoms from getting worse. Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Josephy receive treatment. He is scheduled to undergo a hemorrhoidectomy on August 14th. Now, Josephy needs your help to raise $917 to support the cost of the surgery and care. Josephy shared, "I have suffered and have no other option other than seeking support for me to get rid of the entire problem; I just need to get better; you are my last hope to save my life."

Baby Nardos is a cheerful and playful 8-month-old boy from Ethiopia. He enjoys playing with toys and spending time with other children. He lives with his parents and two older sisters. His father works as a carpenter, while his mother is a homemaker who dedicates her time to caring for the family. Baby Nardos was born with a condition called Hirschprung's disease. This is where a portion of the intestine does not have proper nerve function leaving a child with difficulty with bowel function. Doctors explained that he would need surgery but advised the family to wait until he was older and had grown enough to undergo the procedure. When Nardos was five months old, he was referred to our medical partner's care center, BethanyKids at Myungsung Christian Medical Center (BKMCM), for specialized treatment. Although the family initially felt anxious and uncertain, they were relieved to learn that Nardos could receive the care he needed. Surgeons will remove the part of the intestine that is not working properly and reconnect the healthy intestine to restore proper bowel function. Baby Nardos is scheduled to undergo this surgery on October 25th with the help of our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare. The procedure and follow-up care will cost $1,500, and Baby Nardos needs your help.
