Bruno is a farmer from Malawi. Bruno lives with his wife and their six children. Besides farming, Bruno and his family raise chickens and when he has downtime, he likes to play with his kids.
For one year, Bruno has had an inguinal hernia. This hernia causes Bruno pain and makes working his land difficult. It is also hard for him to rest. Fortunately, on December 7, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at Nkhoma Hospital, our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, World Altering Medicine, is requesting $334 to fund Bruno’s surgery. The requested money pays for supplies, medications, and six nights of hospital stay. Bruno was so happy to find out his surgery would be funded. He is looking forward to being free from this problem so he can go back to farming and playing with his kids.
He says, “Thank you for coming and helping me.”
