Julius is 31 years old and a father of two from Uganda. He is a farmer and grazes animals during his free time.
For the past five months, Julius has had a painful localised swelling over the mid-sternal region, which has gradually taken away his ability to work, provide food for his children, and meet the basic needs of his household. The swelling continued to increase in size, accompanied by persistent pain that made physical activities increasingly difficult. He needs surgery to alleviate his symptoms and prevent other complications.
Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, can help. Julius traveled to our medical partner’s care center, Rushoroza Hospital, to receive treatment. On September 3rd, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, Julius needs help to raise $134 to fund this procedure.
Julius says, “Thank you to everyone who may choose to support me. Your help would give me another chance to work, provide for my children, and live without the pain that has controlled my life for the past five months.”
