Wyson is 42 years old and a father of three from Malawi. He works as a security guard, while his wife operates a small-scale business.
For the past two years, Wyson has had a hydrocele, which is a swelling in a sensitive area of his body. Over time, the swelling and discomfort have increased, significantly affecting his daily activities, mobility, and overall well-being.
Wyson visited our medical partner’s care center, Partners in Hope Medical Center (PIH), where he was told he needed surgery to address his symptoms and prevent them from getting worse. Fortunately, on October 2nd, he will undergo surgery, and our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is requesting $627 to fund Wyson’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
Wyson shared, “I hope you can help me so I can focus on my work. I am worried I will lose my job.”
