Anacleti is a 52-year-old father of five children, three boys and two girls, from Uganda. He engages in small-scale farming together with his wife to provide food for household consumption and to sell any surplus for income.
For five years now, Anacleti has had a hydrocele, which is a swelling in a sensitive area. He has been living with a swelling in his left inguinal region, which increases when he performs strenuous work. He experiences significant pain, which has forced him to stop most of his farming activities. He is unable to walk long distances and has difficulty working in cold conditions or running.
Fortunately, on June 2nd, Anacleti will undergo hydrocele repair surgery. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is requesting $210 to fund Anacleti’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
Anecleti says, “I hope to work, walk, and recover after treatment.”
