Tindiwegyi is a 57-year-old single mother of eight children. She raised all of her children as a single mother. Working as a farmer, she put her children through primary school.
For five months, Tindiwegyi has experienced troubling gynecological symptoms that have caused pain and fever. Finally, she visited a nearby clinic and was referred to our medical partner’s care center.
Tindiwegyi has been diagnosed with a cystocele, and she needs to undergo a uterine prolapse repair. Surgery is scheduled for June 7 and will cost $287.
She says, “After surgery I will resume with farming since what has been disturbing me will have been removed.”

Tindiwegyi underwent gynecological surgery.
She is no longer at risk of feeling discomfort and pain. After recovery she will continue with farming.
She says, “My surgery was a success. I was afraid to undergo surgery but God has done it for me. I extend my sincere thanks to Watsi and all those who contributed towards my treatment. I have nothing to give in return. I will always remember you in my prayers. May the good Lord shower you with his countless blessings.”
