Anamiel is a cheerful and playful 14-month-old boy from Ethiopia. He loves playing football, spending time with other children, and watching animated movies. His lively personality and curiosity bring joy to his family. He lives with his parents, who work hard to support their family. His mother is a homemaker, while his father works as a driver. Anamiel was born with hypospadias, a condition that causes urinary dysfunction. Without treatment, he will continue to experience uncomfortable symptoms and will be at risk of future complications. Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, can help. Anamiel is scheduled to undergo corrective surgery on October 20th. He and his family need help raising $1,293 to cover the cost of his procedure and care. Anamiel’s mother shared, “I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful care and support you have provided to my child. Elifa is a small business owner from Malawi. She is 41 years old and a mother of six children. Together with her husband, she relies on vegetable farming to support their family and provide for their children's needs. For 24 years, Elifa has had an incisional hernia. In 2002, after giving birth to her first child by Caesarean section, she began experiencing severe pain around the surgical incision. For many years, she managed the pain with painkillers and continued with her daily responsibilities despite the discomfort. Over time, she developed a mass around the incision site, which caused ongoing discomfort and gradually became part of her daily life. This year, however, her condition became much more difficult to manage. For about a month, Elifa experienced severe pain from the mass, prompting her to seek medical attention. She was referred to our medical partner's care center, Nkhoma Hospital, for specialized treatment. Fortunately, on October 7th, Elifa will undergo hernia repair with mesh surgery, and our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is requesting $500 to fund Elifa's surgery and care. Elifa said, "I am thankful that I have finally been referred to Nkhoma, but the cost of surgery is more than my family can afford. I am asking for help so that I can have this surgery, recover well, and return to my family and my work without the pain I have carried for so long. I will be deeply grateful to everyone willing to support me.”

Thu Ya is a 21-year-old man from Burma. He lives with his wife in Chomburi Province, Thailand. He is a day labourer at a metal factory, and his wife is a homemaker. His income is enough to cover their daily expenses, and sometimes he also sends some money to his mother who lives in Burma. In his free time, he likes to learn the Chinese language on his phone. On the 17th of July. 2026, on the way from his work to his apartment, Thu Ya was driving a motorbike and fell, breaking his left arm and leg. He cannot walk and is unable to use his left arm to hold things. He is in pain and was forced to stop working. With the help of our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, Thu Ya will undergo surgery to reset his fractured bones and ensure proper healing. The procedure is scheduled for August 28th and will cost $1,500. This procedure will help Thu Ya be free from pain and able to walk and grab things again. He will be able to go back to his work after he is fully recovered. Thu Ya said, "I am stressed as I am in debt due to my condition and cannot work since my accident until now. While I am waiting for treatment, I will learn more Chinese and hopefully one day I will work as a Chinese translator as my new job. I feel like I cannot do heavy work after this treatment, so I will not return to my previous work."
