Say hello to Rachael from Kenya! Rachael is eight years old and wants to become a doctor when she grows up. Her mother works on a farm to support Rachael and her eight siblings.

Rachael lives with chronic osyteomylitis, a condition that causes bone loss in her right leg. As a result, she experiences severe pain and is unable to walk without aid. She is in school but hasn’t been able to concentrate on her studies since the pain started a few years ago.

For $1,500, doctors can perform a bone transport surgery that will allow her to use the leg again after a few months of healing. Let’s help Rachael get this surgery so that she can walk again and concentrate on her studies!
