Grace is a 32-year-old mother of three from Uganda. Her husband works as a boda boda (motorcycle) rider, while Grace is a homemaker. The family lives in a three-room mud house for shelter.
Grace is currently expecting her fourth child. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section because of a high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child. Unfortunately, Grace and her husband are unable to afford the costs of the upcoming surgery. This got Grace very worried, until she heard about the Watsi program. She now seeks support for safe delivery, so she can go back home and continue taking care of her family.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Grace undergo a C-Section on September 16th. This procedure will cost $214, and Grace needs your support.
Grace says, “I thank the donor program in advance for supporting my surgery, and I hope for a positive outcome. I will continue to work to attain quality living by convincing my husband to allow me to get a job, or a small business.”
