Dina is a 25-year-old farmer with 6 brothers from Cambodia. He enjoys spending time at home reading books and watching TV.
Dina fractured his left forearm while operating a rice harvester earlier this year. He could not afford to go to a hospital after the accident. He received treatment from a local traditional healer, but it has been ineffective. He is in pain, and can't use his left arm.
For $411, surgeons at Children's Surgical Centre will perform an open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) procedure to treat the fracture and allow Dina to use his arm again.
Dina's mom shared: "I hope after surgery my son can have normal function of his arm again."
