Ratha is a 32-year-old government office worker. He enjoys watching TV, playing sports, reading books, and listening to music. He likes to spend time with his family - he has one sister and two brothers.
Eight years ago, Ratha developed nasal polyps, noncancerous growths in the lining of the nasal passage. For this reason he experiences nasal obstruction, headaches, a runny nose, and sometimes bleeding. It is difficult for him to breathe and sleep.
When Ratha learned about our medical partner, Children's Surgical Centre, he traveled for five hours seeking treatment. On December 23rd, doctors will perform a nasal polypectomy to remove the polyps. After recovery, he will be able to breathe more easily. Now, he needs help to fund this $291 procedure.
Ratha told us, "I hope after the operation I can sleep better and breathe easily."
