Five-year-old Katiana lives in the Haitian countryside with her parents and four siblings. “Katiana was born normally, but when she turned two-months-old she became sick,” says our medical partner, Project Medishare. But Jessie is a resilient kid, and despite extreme discomfort as a result of his condition, he still loves to sing, dance, and play with his siblings.
