Meet Eunice, a 23-year-old mom from Kenya. She and her husband work very hard to provide for their children and send them to school. They grow corn, beans, potatoes, and sugarcane on a small plot of land. For extra money, they pick up odd jobs and work on neighboring farms.
Eunice is expecting her third child. She has been participating in a maternal and child healthcare training program at one of our medical partners. In the program, she has learned valuable skills, including how to treat drinking water and how to prepare nutritious meals with locally grown produce.
This pregnancy has been difficult for Eunice, and she has been experiencing severe lower abdominal pain. As a result, Eunice is worried about her delivery. Although she wishes to deliver safely in a hospital, Eunice confesses that with most of her income going towards school fees, there is not enough money to prioritize a safe delivery.
Help us raise $215 for this loving mom to deliver her third baby in a safe hospital setting. This will help ensure the safety and health of both Eunice and her baby - just in time for Mother's Day!
