This is Wensley, a playful two-year-old boy from Haiti. He first began to display symptoms of hydrocephalus one year ago. Hydrocephalus, which causes fluid to accumulate in the brain, makes it difficult for Wensley to hold his head upright and has made him more susceptible to other illnesses like the flu. Wensley loves playing with toys and is very eager to interact with other children. His mother, who usually stays home to care for Wensley, cannot afford his treatment. She says, "I think if my child can be healed, I will be very happy, and I will do my best to help him grow normally and have a normal life." Help us raise the $1260 needed for a surgical intervention. This treatment will allow Wensley to have a healthier life, to play with children his age, and to fulfill his mother's dreams.

Abelino recently began experiencing seizures. As a result, his physical development has halted. Abelino has lost the ability to walk and speak. He is also struggling with malnutrition. His parents, afraid for their son and extremely poor, have been unable to seek medical attention on his behalf. Abelino is only four years old. He deserves a happy, healthy childhood, and for $1,450, we can make it happen for him. With medical care from our Guatemalan partner, Abelino will not only receive the treatment he needs to stop the seizures, he will also be given nutritional and physical therapy to help him start growing again.
