Veasna underwent tonsil and adenoid removal.
Veasna traveled to CSC where ENT surgeons performed a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. As a singer, it was difficult for him to have pain and frequent throat infections. After surgery, he was very pleased to already be feeling better. He took antibiotics for a week to decrease the risk of a post-op infection, as well as pain medicine, as it was still difficult for him to swallow for a few days. He is looking forward to returning to singing soon!
“I am happy after surgery was successful and hope my throat has no more frequent infections. I don’t want to have difficulty swallowing anymore,” he shared.
