Ainamani is a five-year-old student from Uganda, and he is the youngest in a family of six children. His mother separated from her husband, and as a result, none of Ainamani’s siblings are in school, due to finances. Ainamani’s mother is a farmer, who does temporary work on other people’s farms to sustain her family. They all live in a three-room mud house.
Ainamani had a painful and large mass for five years. He underwent mass removal surgery two years ago, and now a new growth has developed around the incision site and causing him pain. Currently, Ainamani’s pain is so great that he has had to stop attending school. His mother brought him to a clinic for medical treatment, but she cannot afford the surgery to remove the mass that was recommended.
Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is here to help. On February 27th, surgeons at Rushoroza Hospital will remove the growth. Now, Ainamani’s family needs your help to raise $145 to fund this procedure.
Ainamani’s mother said: “I hope for a quick and successful surgery for my son so that he can live without pain, live a good quality life, and resume his studies after he completely recovers.”
