Meet Manraj, a 10-year-old boy from Nepal. Manraj’s parents tend to the farm to make a living. He has two elder brothers and one elder sister. As the youngest in the family, he is well taken care of by everyone. Currently, he studies in the fourth standard and enjoys studying Nepali the most.
Manraj was walking playing the game of seven stones with his friends after school when he slipped and injured his left arm. His arm has swollen considerably and looks deformed as well. He has been missing school because it is so painful and needs help with his basic everyday work like eating, bathing and so on.
$224 funds treatment to heal Manraj’s fracture. The cost of the treatment includes surgical costs as well as post-operative care.
“Manraj is an outstanding student,” his mother said. “He not only excels in his academics but teaches his friends and ensures they do well too.”
