Boonabana is a small-scale farmer from Uganda. She is a widow with four children.
For five years, Boonabana has had an incisional hernia after a surgery. The hernia causes a painful abdominal swelling. Fortunately, on January 2, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.

Boonabana says, “I hope to continue with cultivation for the betterment of my family after surgery.”
