Yorn is a 73-year-old rice farmer from Cambodia. She has three daughters, three sons, and eighteen grandchildren. She enjoys listening to monks pray on the radio.
One month ago, Yorn developed a cataract in her right eye, causing her vision loss. She has difficulty seeing things clearly, recognizing faces, and going anywhere outside.

On April 28th, doctors will perform a small incision cataract surgery and an intraocular lens implant in her right eye. After recovery, she will be able to see clearly. Now, she needs help to fund this $229 procedure.
“I hope to see everything clearly again, to recognize faces of all my relatives, and go outside, especially I can have rice and do something on my own,” Yorn said.
