Sarith is a 46-year-old policeman and farmer who is married with three sons and a daughter. He likes to watch boxing and relax in his free time.
Sarith has a synovial cyst in his left wrist. It is difficult for him to move his hand, and he is in pain. Sarith heard about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), from his relative. He traveled for three hours to reach CSC for treatment. There, he learned he will need surgery to help his relieve his pain. His surgery is scheduled for February 24.
Sarith cannot afford this treatment, so CSC is requesting $224. After surgery, he will be able to move his wrist easily again.

Sarith underwent a cyst removal.
Sarith’s treatment for his wrist went well. Following the procedure, he was given pain medication, and he was provided wound care at CSC. Sarith feels more comfortable than before. He is able to use his wrist more easily, and he does not experience any pain.
Sarith says, “I have a better wrist now, and I don’t feel any more pain.”
