Ssekamanya is a young boy from Uganda. He is an only child to his parents.
For three years, Ssekamanya has had an inguinal hernia. If not treated, it may result in intestinal tissue damage or death due to twisting and blocking. Fortunately, on September 11, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Ssekamanya’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
Ssekamanya’s grandmother says, “I hope he will be relieved of it after surgery and I will have peace of mind.”
