Night is 43 years old and a farmer from Uganda.
Five years ago, Night began to experience lower abdominal pain and weakness in her legs. She went to the nearby health center and was given some medication to reduce her pain. However, her pain recurred frequently, which affected her ability to work. Night returned to the health center, where she was told that her condition required surgery, which she was unable to afford.
Fortunately, she heard about our medical partner’s care center, Yumbe Regional Referral Hospital. A scan was done, which confirmed the presence of a lipoma that needs to be removed surgically. Fortunately, our medical partner can help. Night is scheduled to have the lipoma excised on September 8th, and our medical partner, Hope Health Action (HHA), is requesting $605 to fund Night’s surgery.
Night shared, “Thank you to HHA and the donors for the support they have given. I hope I can go back to farming after a complete recovery.”
