Rady is a 51-year-old soldier who is married with three sons and a daughter. He likes to watch television, listen to music, and be on duty at his workplace.
Last January, Rady was in a motorcycle accident that fractured his right femur. He went to a hospital for treatment, but his symptoms did not improve. He has difficulty walking and is in pain.
Fortunately, Rady learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), from a friend. On February 15, surgeons at CSC will surgically realign the severely broken bones in Rady’s leg. This will help the bones to heal and allow Rady to walk easily. He needs $411 to fund this procedure.

Rady received treatment for his broken leg.
Surgeons at CSC removed hardware from his right femur from an ORIF procedure performed at a different hospital. Two pins were removed, and a debridement procedure was performed to remove damaged tissue. Following the procedure, he was given pain medication, and he had three weeks of physiotherapy before being discharged.
Rady’s wife says, “I am happy to see my husband not feel any pain.”
