Pakisale is a provider for his wife and ten kids from Malawi. He works as a hired laborer. After work, he enjoys watching local soccer games.
Since January of this year, Pakisale has been experiencing vomiting and backache. These symptoms are caused by an enlarged prostate, a condition called benign prostatic hyperplasia. He needs to undergo a prostate resection surgery, a procedure in which surgeons will remove part of the enlarged gland.
Our medical partner, World Altering Medicine, is requesting $733 to fund Pakisale’s surgery. On September 13, he will undergo prostate surgery at Nkhoma Hospital, our medical partner’s care center. The requested money pays for supplies, medications, and two weeks of hospital stay. He is glad to receive help with his medical problems.
He says, “I am very happy for this program because it will help me return to good health so that I can work hard to take care of my family!”
