Zaw Min is a 55-year-old man from Burma. He lives with his wife, son, and grandson in Tak Province, Thailand. Before his condition worsened, he ran a bicycle repair shop at his home. However, he had to stop working due to his deteriorating health. His wife earns a living by selling vegetables. In the middle of 2024, Zaw Min began to experience troubling symptoms, including back pain. He was diagnosed with urethral stones and was referred to a specialty hospital for further care. Currently, he experiences some discomfort while walking and also experiences back pain. Doctors recommend performing a cystolithotomy, a procedure to remove bladder stones, to address his symptoms. Our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, is requesting $1,500 for this procedure. The treatment is scheduled to take place on June 19th. Once completed, Zaw Min will hopefully live more comfortably and can return to work. Zaw Min said, "Thank you very much for giving me a hand. It relieves me of my stress, especially financially."

Paw is a 22-year-old woman from Burma. She lives with her husband, mother, sister, and brother. Her husband works as a nurse. Her mother is retired, and her brother volunteers at the clinic where her husband works. Her sister helps with the household work. Their total household income is not enough to cover their basic needs. Paw enjoys sewing in her free time. Paw is currently expecting her first child. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section due to a high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child. Our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, is helping Paw undergo a C-Section on October 5th at our medical partner's care center, Tha Song Yang Hospital. This procedure will cost $1500, and Paw needs your support. Paw shared, “Thank you so much for supporting me with the surgery cost. Pellan is a 35-year-old housewife from Uganda. Growing up, Pellan aspired to become an accountant, inspired by the professionalism and smart appearance of bank employees. Unfortunately, despite completing her education, she was unable to secure employment in her chosen profession. Her husband works as a boda boda motorcycle taxi rider. Pellan is pregnant, and doctors recommend she deliver via a caesarean section due to a high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Pellan undergo a C-Section on October 31st. This procedure will cost $252, and Pellan needs your support.
