Loclin visited our facility with complaints of an abdominal mass that has lasted for two years. The mass has been gradually increasing until recently when she decided to seek treatment in our facility. She had tried medical intervention previously and surgery was recommended. However, since she did not have sufficient money, she could not receive surgery.
Upon review by our doctor, she was diagnosed with right ovarian mass and a cystectomy procedure is recommended. If treated, the chances of the mass increasing and becoming cancerous will be reduced.
Loclin used to work at a mobile center before losing her job. She lacked school fees to further her studies. She has since been practicing subsistence farming to make ends meet. She is not able to afford the cost of surgery and appeals for help.

Loclin underwent treatment to remove an ovarian mass.
Loclin Kakuba underwent a successful cystectomy treatment due to right tubal ovarian mass. She is feeling well with a little pain on the incision site, but in good health condition. She will live a happy life as she has been relieved of the pain and mass she had.
She shared,“Am so privileged to find that I too have a pain free life because I never knew I would make it this way. Thanks so much. I hope to continue with my cultivation as to get survival.”
