Namara is a farmer from Uganda. She is married with four children, and all are in school. She and the husband practice small-scale farming to earn a living.
Since one year ago, Namara has had an umbilical hernia. This hernia causes her weakness and pain, and prevents her from working. Fortunately, on May 12th, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $241 to fund Namara’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably and confidently.
Namara shared: “I will be very glad to see that I no longer have this condition so that I may be able to perform well in my garden.”
