This is Wacira, a 47-year-old mother of one who works as a clothing vendor in Kenya. Following pain and swelling of her left breast, Wacira was diagnosed with breast cancer and requires a modified radical mastectomy. Without it, the cancer will metastasize to other organs, leading to her death.
Wacira cannot afford this surgery and says, “I feel like I have a death sentence handed to me and am waiting for death. I want to live so that I can work hard so that I can take care of my daughter and see her have a bright future.”
Let’s work together to raise $830 for Wacira’s surgery. As a single parent, Wacira has worked hard to take care of her daughter, and our donations can help her become cancer-free and live to see her daughter grow up.
