Amina’s parents are unemployed, and are concerned that Amina’s condition will worsen since they cannot afford treatment.
For $640, we can fund a surgical procedure that will insert a shunt to drain the excess fluid in Amina’s skull. Doctors anticipate that the surgery will reduce the size of Amina’s head, decrease her risk of brain damage, and increase her appetite and activity.
