Tausi lives in Tanzania. She enjoys reading books and playing with other children. She also enjoys helping her mother take care of her younger sister. Her mother is a seamstress, and her father works at the mosque they attend. When Tausi grows up, she wants to have a family of her own, and she would like to study to become a nurse or doctor.
Tausi has a wound on the right side of her torso due to a failed skin graft that she underwent to heal a burn wound. On March 30, Tausi will undergo a surgical debridement and application of a graft/flap to the affected area, which will be taken from an area on her left leg. This procedure should heal her wound. Now, the family needs help to fund this $1,376 procedure.
