Mpirirwe is a small-scale farmer from Uganda. She is married with five children. For four years, Mpirirwe has had an inguinal hernia. If not treated, the hernia could develop complications. Fortunately, on June 18, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Mpirirwe’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably and confidently.
Mpirirwe says, “I am afraid of this condition but I hope for a better quality of life after surgery.”
